Lets talk about laser jammers.
Anybody got one? Which is best or does the better job? Thanks. I've been looking at reviews of the Blinder system and it seems to be tops but it's hard to judge. |

Quoted:
Jamming implies a signal that affects the device itself. Not sure how something like that would be available commercially if it even exists. Because these jammers are for laser and not radar, US federal laws prohibiting the use of radar jammers do not apply to these devices. However, several states have one or more laws that specifically prohibit the use of laser jammers

I have the escort live system for detector and it’s great if you’re on route used by truckers. While laser zaps you instantly the live system picks up traffic that’s ahead of you. Escort has the laser system as a add on or stand alone.
I drive from Scottsdale to Orange county twice a month. |

They don't work. Or, they go off just in time to tell you that you've been nailed Laser jammers do work. They detect the laser and immediately flash a set of IR LEDs at the same frequency, so the laser is trying to calculate speed based on how long it takes the laser to reflect back to it but has all sorts of bogus signals screwing up it's calculation. |

Illegal in TX, thanks Rick Perry. What? The primary target of the laser is the front license plate - it's reflective of the laser light just like normal visible light. There are matted covers sold that greatly reduce the reflection. http://www.guysoflidar.com/texas-laser-jammer-laws.html |
