Just wanted to say I've always been a fan of their designs and company. I have their twin screw vise on a bench I built about 20 years ago. It's been excellent. Recently discovered that the guide pins on the handles of my Leigh RTG400 router table jig had broken off. Quick internet search revealed that Lee Valley had purchased Leigh. Called up customer service and it was super simple to order the upgraded handles that have been improved to protect the pins. I think the handles were $13. One was back ordered so they removed one from their showroom and shipped it out. I have 3-4 of their hand planes as well and their set of spoke shaves. In some ways, I like them better than my Lie Nielson's. Just wanted to give them a shout out as I really like both their upgraded tool designs and their CS. |
