If a civil case tried in Federal Court in SC were to be appealed. Where would the next trial be?

The appeal (which would not be another trial) would be heard by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, which is seated in Richmond, VA.

Just curious. I was deposed for the trail and was on standby in a hotel for three days to testify for the trial. I didn't testify.
