I may be going to Shepherd University next year and would like to store a firearm at a fellow arfcommers house...assuming that there are any in the area willing to do so.
I am thinking about obtaining a cheap pistol, like a CZ-52 for target and SHTF use. Would it be legit for me to take a pistol to shepherd, and store it off campus at a friends house even though I am a resident of another state? There would be no ownership transfer, just a transfer of possession/storage. Is this something that I should write an inquiry to the ATF about? |
