| Can I have a post ban lower sitting there in the safe stripped, while also having the parts to make an "evil featured rifle" in the same safe? These parts would be waiting for Sept 14th to bacome a rifle. |
| The prudent thing to do would be to have a friend who owned and possessed the upper till September. Not that AWB violations are a priority of any sort for the alphabets, but why take the risk? The risk arises from the BATFE fiction that the simultanerous possession of MG parts and a receiver on which to install them is a MG, because it makes the receiver "readily convertible" to FA. By that logic, a postban receiver and an evilly accessorized upper, not attached to a preban lower, if possessed by the same person, would be an accessorized postban rifle. |
