OK, so we (me, wife and 2 little kids) are watching a Star Wars movie on Spike cable. I'm battling our 8 mo old GSD, trying not to have him grab anything and everything on the ground when a commercial comes on. Looks innocent enough. Dennis Quaid in a greasy spoon and a women and old lady talking when WTF.....
See at 20 seconds. Grandma is overtop. Makes Predator or Freddy K look like a Girl Scout. My little ones were watching in shock and I couldn't find the remote to change the ch. Probably wouldn't have either because the trailer had to be seen by me. Legion |

If they are Angels... how would a gun hurt them? Do they take material form? And what happens if a Angel dies on earth. do they go to heaven? and if they go to heaven does that mean God has a infinite amount of angels to throw at us? What is the best round for a angel? or for that matter scary looking old people? |

Remember the really long limbed ice-cream man? Fangoria made a comment about "invasion of the body snatchers". I don't remember how exactly they put it, but I'd suspect that they occupy the local native population.

| I'll pass. The whole angels/demons fighting thing seems cool, but why spend money on a movie that says there is a God and he is the bad guy? Is the Devil a good guy then? I may change my mind upon reading more reviews and seeing what the plot really is, but I'm suspicious of movies now. |

I just found the trailer commercial to be "WOH", especially the old lady scene that my kids witnessed. They go to church and there are lots of sweet "blue haired" grandmas that always fawn over them. A scene like that can mess a kid up. Kind of like when I saw Jaws and I was living in FLA then. 9 years old and after that I didn't want to go in our in ground pool let alone the ocean.

I think I would find that plot stupid even if I were not Christian. That would be like the Care Bears hunting down the smurfs with automatic weapons and a lot of CG. I actually burst out laughing at the stupidity when I first saw the trailer in the theater. To those who want to see it, enjoy, I guess. |
