A while back there was a thread about inexpensive bundles of cigars, and cheaper everyday smokes, but I can't seem to find it, and it's not in the Humidor FAQs. Any recommendations on some cheaper tasty smokes would be much appreciated! -Sam |

Anyone had any luck with "factory seconds"?? It appears (from reading customer reviews on certain sites) that they are pretty good, just not as astetically pleasing as the sticks that get the bands. I figure for what would normally be $5-8 a stick, down somewhere around $2 a stick, it might be worth it?
What say you???? (Sorry about all the n00b questions, but take solice in the fact that I value your guy's opinions |

Perdomo (squared, over-runs, seconds) Man O War(anything but the virtue or ruination) La Gloria Cubana(when deals arise) Partagas(Good deals on the Cifuentes winter blends) Did you not like those? Or are they just a bit pricey for an everyday smoke? The virtue may be good for a beginner as it is very mild and not a whole lot of depth. The Ruination is also pretty one sided for flavor, but has much more of a Nicotine punch. Quoted:

(Sorry about all the n00b questions, but take solice in the fact that I value your guy's opinions I used to love getting Perdomo over-runs and seconds....I should have some Man O War seconds by Friday afternoon to try out as well. I have little problem smoking seconds, I'm a poor cigar smoker...so its find good deals or smoke cheaper sticks. I've never had a $20 cigar that made me want to go broke to get more... |

Tried a Quorum Toro the other day. Not too bad considering the price. I prob dont know a good cigar from a bad one yet, but for the price, they smoked alright. Flavor was nice and consistant. Bit of a loose draw, but that didnt come into play until about the last 2 - 1.5 inches worth, then it started to get a little hot. Other than that, not too shabby.
Anyone else tried one of these?? |

(Sorry about all the n00b questions, but take solice in the fact that I value your guy's opinions I buy seconds of Pedermo Estates and RP Nicaragains for roughly $2 a stick. I'm happy with them, no there not always pretty or will have inconsistent burn or draw but for the price the flavor and experience is still there. in the warmer months I generally will smoke a stick a day so I can go through them pretty quickly so I stick to the seconds. Whe I want something special I go to my reserve stock. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
