| Has anybody used Goldmoney.com as a way to buy gold? It seems to work like a PayPal account. You wire money to them into an account you set up and when you need it you wire back to a bank or something. Sounds good as long as they do not rip you off. What do you guys think? What little money we have we would like to do something to get it out of US $. Just looks like BO is going to kill the US financial market soon. |

If all the gold in these gold funds has to be delivered, we will see a run on gold like 1849. If you buy gold, don't leave it in the fund. Get it and put it in your safe/safety deposit box.
One of the reasons the Hunt bros were successful in 1980 was that they took physical possession of the silver. When you take possession, you make the seller go out and buy more physical gold. |

Physical gold for SHTF, yes. Vaporware gold for investment/trading, IF you feel real lucky, I do not. That said, the Hunts were not successful in the 1980s. They got burnt for 6 billion bucks in a single day. Trading on margin. I was building a house for Lamar's nephew at the time, both were by the jobsite frequently. Didn't put them out of business but it wasn't fun for them either. |
| I think you guys got it right. Heard about this Goldmoney.com from reading Peter Schiff's book "Bull Moves in a bear Market" . I like a lot about what he has to say but his clients lost 1/3 of their stock values last year. Go figure? With the big depression on its way I think we will stock up with toilet paper and dry goods. In the future All my overextended neighbors with the Big Homes can come and KMA if they want to wipe theirs. Something to be said for owning the small house and ten year old car. Time to get ready for the big one. Lets see what you guys plan on doing for the depression. Go ahead and post. |
