Okay, so I signed up for Linkedin network, only because some former students of mine wanted me to (I don't even really know what it is about--I assume some sort of Facebook for industry). I just got an e-mail, asking me to connect with someone I have never heard of. He is listed as a Detective in the City of Poplar Bluff (assume Mo). In this case, "connect" does not have a homosexual connotation. I know where you perverts minds would instantly go. Never been to Poplar Bluff, don't know the person's name. Could this be some scam? Or should I hide my dag (or my cats in my case)? |

LinkedIn will, if you let it, suggest connections with people whose e-mail addresses are in your address book and theirs. It's up to you how you want to handle connections: connecting to J Random Strangers, or only people you know in the real world, or anything in between. |

Mmm, doubt it is someone with same name (as my name is not very common--last name that is). Just wanted to make sure this isn't some scam set-up. As far as ARFCOM linked in, that is what GD is for!  |
