I get the old "The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings." about half the time I click on a post or try to refresh a forum page. Hitting refresh/reload does not help. I have to close the window and try the link again, sometimes several times, to get the page to load.

About 20% of the time --this new topic page I'm typing on, for instance-- the format is totally screwed up, with pictures not loading, a dark grey background making everything hard to read and links showing up as bad contrast blue on the dark grey.

We think the router was having issues this morning, hopefully things are ok now.

So far, so good, GB. Thanks for all the hard work, and I'm glad you could get that router some counseling. We all have issues from time to time.

I've had that exact same problem off and on since the site came up.

I will log on fine, then go to a board.  But then on the next link I click the site seems to instantly bog down and I wait, and then the site comes up slowly with pics missing and the links FUBAR.  Then if I click the back button, I get the typical Internet Explorer "Page is Unavailable" white screen.  Then if I wait a bit and go back to ARFCOM homepage it all goes back to normal.

I know this is not really a huge problem, but when it happens it is annoying.  Is it a router problem at ARFOMC or is it my problem?  Specifically, is it a cable-modem problem?

AFAIK it's an ARFCOM router problem.  I'm still receiving FUBAR packets.  Check your firewall log.

Here is something else that keeps popping up every now and then after a slow page load.

Error:  Line 12    bSIZE is undefined

Error:  Line 4      baseHREF is undefined

What do those mean?
