What's your views on local militias.
Over reactive right wing beard neck nuts or useful "shooting club"/ preppers cosplay. |

Quoted: In my militia colonels are mere errand boys and dog robbers. Quoted: Quoted: I'm a Colonel in my militia. They call me Colonel Angus. You might have heard of me. In my militia colonels are mere errand boys and dog robbers. I'm an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill? |

in a group of 100 militia men, there's probably 1 or 2 "true believers" and 98-99 feds of various sorts... This. Otherwise, an actual militia might be handy, just in case of anything. Yeah, for things like the 5XL Multicam Fashion Show and Swap Meet. |

This reminds me of a buddy of mine who used to be an undercover cop and was assigned to go deep cover into an outlaw motorcycle gang.
He said it was quite "interesting" keeping the act up of being something which was not even remotely like his real self. After enough time maintaining an acting performance for which he deserved an Academy Award, he said he decided to quit because it got too crazy. |
|
Pointless.
They don't take any political action and they don't take any violent action so basically they're idiots. Full of sound and fury and signifying nothing. We've got real threats to freedom 24/7, 365. You want to help? Get involved in digital liberation or political action to push back against it. You want to play dress up and get media exposure go round the woods bitching about ZOG or whatever the hell they do. |

In WI? None that I know of that keep a visible profile, other than Posse Commitatus.
They're a bunch of wacky sovereigns, from what I hear. If you have one in your local area that is transparent, has a good PR program, and you're willing to deal the probablility of being monitored by .gov, by all means do it. It's not like you're doing anything illegal, but I prefer to keep my privacy, thanks. |

It is possible to be a one man fireteam. How friggin awesome if that? Think of the trim you will get. 250- 299 is considered a tunnel rat. 150- 200 is considered FBI, ATF, FEMA unless they can prove they are a tweaker. |

Quoted: I heard you just don't know when to leave.
As for local militias, I don't even know if they exist. You have the border volunteers, but from the little I've seen of their recruiting @ gun shows, they're not able to stick to a single issue. One of the members here did a good write up of his time on the Arizona border, I believe. |

I ran into some guys at costa mesa who were with something called tyranny response group. They were dressed sloppy and looked to be in terrible shape;greasy hair fucked up teeth and cross eyed. I almost felt bad for them. |

Quoted: I have no problems with guys who are in these groups but at least hit the gym and put some muscle on. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_XP5LTYdLX7g/Sq5VF46xd4I/AAAAAAAAAVc/0hb9ES_BnQs/s400/Tyranny+response+team.jpg We really got under the Brady orgs skin
