Which statement most accurately reflects your opinion about gun laws, given the president's pitch Tuesday to take measures to reduce gun-related violence?
I oppose any effort by the government to further hinder gun ownership as a violation of my Constitutional rights. 67.9% I support steps to control unlawful dealers, provided those actions don't impede by right to possess guns. 7.5% I support the Second Amendment, but also think we need to reduce gun violence so I'm open to some tighter controls. 15.1% I don't own guns and am not personally affected by this issue either way. 3.8% No one outside the military or law enforcement needs to possess a gun in the United States. 5.7% |
