Quoted: This is actually a fairly straightforward concept depending on one particular factor. Ask yourself... do I like Japan? If the answer is... Yes, then yes, we nuked them enough. If the answer is... No, then no, we did not nuke them enough. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Did we nuke them too much? Or not enough?? I don’t think we’ll ever know This is actually a fairly straightforward concept depending on one particular factor. Ask yourself... do I like Japan? If the answer is... Yes, then yes, we nuked them enough. If the answer is... No, then no, we did not nuke them enough. Disclaimer: NCL and I are friends. And it's obviously way more nuanced than that. There were anime girls everywhere in Japan. AND I MEAN EVERYWHERE. Is it weird? Yeah. It's weird. And this is coming from me. Bea is A cat what likes noodles. But Japan when we nuked them is not Japan now. They might be crazy, but the current gen fucking hates commies. I means HATES. It put me to shame. Lol. And my partner, before her family fled to Taiwan when the commies came. Came from Nanjing. Her grandmother told her the stories. If anyone has a reason to hate "the Japs", she does. But she doesn't. ... When we're in Sapporo, we took a cab from the hotel to a restaurant. Cab driver asked us where we were from. I said, "USA, Washington DC". His face lighted up. "I LOVE AMERICA I HATE CHINA" and he meant it. My partner "I hate China Too". He was so happy we were both American. I told him her family was from Taiwan. He said "China wants to go Booom" on Taiwan. Then he shook his head. "Taiwan go boom back. I don't like China." ... Not really sure where I'm going with... but we really have more allies in Japan. And Taiwan. And South Korea than we know. Let's be the Americans they think we are. |

Japan is an island nation located in East Asia, with a rich history spanning thousands of years. The earliest known human settlements in Japan date back to the Paleolithic period, with evidence of hunter-gatherer communities inhabiting the islands around 30,000 BCE.
The Yayoi period, which began around 300 BCE, saw the introduction of agriculture and metalworking to Japan, as well as the development of a complex social hierarchy. In the 3rd century CE, the first written records of Japan appeared in Chinese historical texts, describing a society ruled by a series of powerful clans. The 8th century CE saw the emergence of a centralized imperial government, with the establishment of the first permanent capital at Nara. This period, known as the Nara period, was characterized by the spread of Buddhism and the creation of a highly sophisticated court culture. In the 12th century, the first shogun, or military ruler, emerged in Japan, marking the beginning of the feudal era. The Kamakura shogunate, which lasted from 1185 to 1333, saw the rise of powerful samurai clans and the development of a unique warrior culture. The 16th century saw the arrival of European traders and missionaries, as well as the unification of Japan under the rule of Oda Nobunaga and his successor Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The Tokugawa shogunate, which lasted from 1603 to 1867, ushered in a period of relative peace and stability, known as the Edo period. During this time, Japan saw significant cultural and economic development, including the emergence of kabuki theater and the rise of a wealthy merchant class. In the late 19th century, Japan embarked on a program of rapid modernization and industrialization, known as the Meiji Restoration. This period saw the adoption of Western technology and culture, as well as the emergence of Japan as a major imperial power in East Asia. Japan's expansionist policies ultimately led to its involvement in World War II, which ended with the country's defeat and the subsequent American occupation. Since the end of World War II, Japan has undergone significant political and social changes, including the adoption of a pacifist constitution and the emergence of a highly advanced economy. Today, Japan is a thriving democracy with a rich cultural heritage and a prominent role in the global community. |

So I find myself conflicted, I could understand that color is way better than most yellow, however, unless it’s free I have no interest in Chevrolet products. And why would he down grade. Maybe there are just others out their with similar taste but do like Chevy’s. Or maybe….. |

It takes like 17 hours to get there once you leave the house! And the dickheads in the window seat always close the window so they can sleep, so you're stuck trying to work or watch Netflix for the entire flight vs look for castaways on newly discovered islands. And you're five hours off from anything cool happening, so everyone is calling you at annoying hours, or you have to make an effort to call them at the ass-crack of dawn. Plus all the sailboaters looking to steal any TP you leave unattended at the slightest hint that it is unguarded. I'd rather go to the Gulf Coast. Kharn |

Quoted: What's with the anime fascination? This isn't Japan. View Quote When there was a problem with goats on one of the galapagos islands (not the one where the used judas goats, a different one) they created a bunch of "hot" female goat dummies. Big eyes, proportions etc. Anyways the male goats started to breed with these dummy goats instead of the real goats and it caused the population to shrink over time. Solved the overpopulation problem. Anime/hentai is the same thing for Japan and has spread to more than a few westerners. |
