i was taking mona shopping yesterday and saw something i have never seen before. We had to cross a railraod track on the way. Going and coming we were stopped by trains crossing the road. Both trains were loaded down with military equipment. Fuel tankers,humvees, trucks etc. The funny thing was at the front, close to the middle, and end of the train were humvee's with the AA batteries installed. They appeared to be loaded as the regular ones just had empty tubes on the "pods" Couldn't tell if they were maned or not but they were pointing skyward and not level with the truck. I am guessing it was headed to the port in mobile for shipment to the gulf. Kinda gives you an uneasy feeling to see that stuff rolling through your nieghborhood. mike |
