Probably. Damn. That was an entertaining one, too. Quoted:

The fact that it was moved to the trash instead of just locked leads me to believe that somebody did some digging and shared a bit too much info. But I dunno. Damn. That was an entertaining one, too. Indeed. That was a great thread. Needed some closure though. |

| I'd double the price if someone used "help a brother out" on me. If you were really a "brother" why would you ask them to take a loss and \ or not make a profit, essentially this is the buyer making a profit off the sellers labor and skill. In my group of friends, while we might go out of our way in some aspects because they are friends, do not ask, expect, or even accept discounts. |

I don't understand why a guy can't just realize the other guy won't sell at that price and move on? I have yet to get offended when a guy rejects my offer. I've gotten amused a few times at a gun show, but not offended. Well he was nice enough to list one of the voting choices as: "OP is a douche".

Oddly, I charge friends and family a bit more than strangers. I call it a "convenience fee." Really it's a quiet disincentive to use my services without having to be the cousin or buddy that says "No." Mostly they don't ask in the first place since they all know I hate working with people I genuinely like. |

I assume he woke up, saw that him bailing on the thread wasn't enough to make it go away, so he got a permission slip to have the whole thing disappear. His name was tyrantresistor. |

That is most unfortunate. Ah well, until next time I guess.
