This is my lunch today.

I can't carry at work, forgot a pot, and I'm trying to save $$$.

This isn't the first time I've eaten Bean with Bacon soup straight out of the can. At least I have Ritz.

One of my favorite lunches is black bean tortilla soup and tostitos...

Who needs a fancy lunch anyway?

It's a 30 year old doublewide. We have nice offices on the other side of town, but this is in my working area and keeps us away from the higher ups. My bosses office is 20 miles away.

Looks pretty good to me.

I feel sorry for you man.  That is a pretty sad lunch.

1, but only because the only way to get 0 would be to just skip lunch altogether.

"Can't" carry at work?  That's an interesting word - "can't."  Sorry to hear that your employer has metal detectors and pat-down searches.

Simple, minimalist, no gayness present.  7/10.

i eat a can of ravioli about 4 times a week during my work lunch break.  its cheap and provides nutrition (and a shit ton of sodium).  leaves me with more disposable income though

I've had days I would have fought you for that meal.

Enjoy it.

You have a point, I'm still having nightmares over the puddle of Cottage Cheese used as a side dish a couple months ago. Anything compared to that is an automatic  10/10.

I was expecting much MUCH worse. I'd be happy to eat that on a good day.

I have to say, that paired with a fine vintage of purified drinking water (Food Lion brand) it was pretty good.

Well, well, go out and have a liquid lunch then, unless the boss is following this thread, he will never know.

Jobsite trailer?

Would explain the layout and wood paneling.

Been there.  When I first became an electrical estimator, my office was a converted conex setup in the yard at the main office.

I'd go on the Auschwitz diet if I could get my boss to move 20 miles away.

Beans = protein & fiber
Crackers = startch & fiber
Bacon = Bacon ( a vital nutrient)
ARFCOM up = good
ARFCOM up at work = even better
Not in a dining room = normal ARFCOM
No firearm = pass...work rules

I'd say 8/10. Balanced meal

Next time, bring the bean & bacon soup in a plastic container, nuke it and have warm soup. Or, do it the way we used to in the old days when men were men. Leave the beans in the can, nuke it, and eat the beans & bacon off the walls. (don't even try it. Don't ask.)
