OT laws: Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." and End times: Revelations 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." |

Well, the fact that there may be a few gay folks at the battle, there will be one thing that I believe should be accomplished by everyone present right before the Lord drops a heavenly payload of ordinance on them.

Most Christian and Jewish groups today hold that many of the rules in Leviticus and elsewhere in the Hebrew Bible should not be considered binding, or at worst, minor sins if transgressed, and that the harsh punishments are obsolete. For instance, there is an extensive debate in the Talmud (Sanhedrin, Chapter VIII). as to whether putting a 'stubbon and rebellious' child to death is an appropriate punishment by reductio ad adsurdum. And Jesus is quoted as saying that the law should consist of two rules, namely love for God and love for one's neighbor; this is an implicit criticism of the complicated and often extreme regulations of Leviticus. I wish some Christians would stop putting words in JC's mouth to fit their own agendas. He made things perfectly clear right there.

Then you would be wrong of course. The word of God is the Law of God and visa-versa! There are many New Testament teachings that would absolutely flame your theory in a heart-beat if not sooner! And additionally, Jesus said that He by no means came to do away with the law but fulfill. These things also should or do not represent any man or woman's carnal, sensual, or political agendas whatsoever except to come to the full knowledge of the sin nature according to the all of mankind, in which, the act of homosexuality and especially openly promoting such as is an abomination, and also an especially grievous part of transgressing the law. Sorry, if you play this sort of game too long, then you will ultimately lose your soul.. |
