My favorite time of year brings my favorite treat. Seafood salad. Calamari, Octopus, Squingelli (Giant snail), Shrimp, BIG chunks of garlic, black and green olives, a little onions and a little oil and vinegar. On the side is a Thunder5 loaded with 5 rounds of 3", 410 gauge #4 shot. The knife is my CRKT M16-12Z. |

Quoted: MMMMMM.....Squid If you listen closely, you can hear those words coming from my bedroom on a romantic Saturday night. [;)] Sure beats Christmas Eve on a dreary old Navy ship; huh Frank? [;)] Oh, in case nobody told you. I was NEVER in the NAVY!!! Quoted: Now I really love sea food, but.........That is the most disgusting looking plate of grub I've seen in a while. It looks like what spilled out of the shark on jaws when they gutted it, just put a tire and a license plate there with it. My dad used to eat crap like that, but I think all Navy guys do. [}:D] |

I'd take seconds! One of my friends owned a Greek restaurant in Greektown in Chicago, called Hestia. His cook had a GREAT recipe for octopus in vinegar and olive oil, charcoal broiled after being in a pressure cooker. You hardly had to chew, it was so tender. YUM! Cephalopods: They're what's for dinner! |

Quoted: Great food even nicer pistol. How hard does it kick with 45/70s? They made two versions of the Thunder5, a 45\70 version and a 410\45 LC version. I think the 45\70 one is discontinued. They also made 9mm sleeves for the .410 version! I will say that with the 3" .410 ammo, the T5 gives a nice kick. After about 15-20 rounds my wrist starts to throb from the slow push of the 3 lb gun. I'll bring it to CampyBobs next year so you can shoot it. You will be there, RIGHT?! |

Quoted: You should be on FEAR FACTOR. If you can eat that mess you can eat anything. An easy 50g. Mess? MESS!?! Frutta di mare is god's gift to anyone of a discerning Roman palate. Just because some people are unable to appreciate something just a tad more sophisticated than burnt dead cow.....[:D] Frankie, do you have any at the shop? I'll take three pounds for New Year's Eve... |

Quoted: MMMMMM.....Squid A late entry but, I think it's gonna make my top 10 greatest Topic titles of 2002. A Merry Christmas to your family... Sure beats Christmas Eve on a dreary old Navy ship; huh Frank? [;)] Heck, give him the coveted... IRON STOMACH OF THE YEAR award... [shock] [puke] [;)] |
