The missus and I will be traveling and spending a week in Moab, in 2026. We will be traveling in a 2021 Toyota 4Runner ORP (stock). What are your favorite, easy trails, to spend the day sight seeing? Food? Other activities that are a must in the area? |

Arches is very pretty and some incredible hikes. Milts for a burger is a must There's a quesadilla place (food truck) that's great for lunch Trailhead is nice for dinner Wilson Arch is an easy hike up right off the highway S of town Moab brewery is OK, kind of a classic, but there are better places in town Drive down to Fishers Towers trail is nice along the river, and the hike at fishers towers is pretty cool Mountain biking is incredible. Some easy trails, if you don't normally ride. Deadhorse trails are easy but pretty. We mostly overland, so not sure of easy 4x4 trails. |

Arches has some cool stuff, but be careful that you don't get stuck in the traffic trying to get in there. The line at the pay booth into Arches can back up something awful. There are some really nice arches you can visit without paying an entrance fee. Corona Arch is one of my favorites. Long Canyon is a pretty nice drive. Great stuff. I can't help but miss what Moab was before the rich people took it over. It seems that the Jackson Hole crowd moved in, closed all the affordable restaurants to open micro breweries. I |

I enjoyed Schaefer road, Thelma and Louise point is off it, that's where they ran the car off the cliff. The tight switchbacks on the west end look scary but are really not bad at all. OnX offroad is a very good app for this type of thing. Schaefer trail...leads into Canyonlands NP. |

Stock 4 runner should be able to do Chicken Corners and I think you could probably do Fins and Things. As others have said, the area around Gemini Bridges is incredible, lots of trails / scenery ( Even after the hippies closed a bunch down ) Absolutely love it there. September / October you could still be having 80 degree days. It will get cool at night though. Getting snow that early would be non-typical. |

There are a couple spots on Fins and Things that a stock 4runner may drag, but many can just be bypassed or spotted. Don't ignore Grandstaff Canyon and Corona Arch. These are light hikes, but are some of the most beautiful State Parks. I definitely echo Schaefer, Mussleman, Gemini as others have mentioned above. |
