Way back when everyone was taught 5 meter intervals. Now I see you guys all lined up and packed together like your ready to hump. WTF? Do they not teach spacing anymore or does that go against MOUT doctorine? |

The reason for getting everybody "tight" together, is for speed upon entry into a building. You stay a bit spaced when moving but as soon as you are about to go through an entry point, you "stack." The stack should last as short a time as possible. Once everyone is ready, last man signals with either a pat on the back to his buddy in front or a squeeze. This is passed on up til it reaches the first man. The first man then enters the building/room/etc. and if done correctly everyone else enters fraction of a second behind the person to their front. This allows you to dominate a room very quickly. F.A.S. Out |
