I saw on the commie news network where the fact the Johnny Mac liked to party at the Naval Academy, DURING THE FIFTIES, is now a concern. That is some FUNNY SHIT! BO is dropping so fast, the MSM is having a come apart. Now that the curtain has been lifted, everybody is realizing what an empty suit he is. What next, the fact that Johnny Mac is...OMG...Caucasian? The HORROR!

Funny stuff. I still love the ad that screams "OMGWTFBBQ, McCain graduated fifth from the bottom at college!" Yeah, well, that "college" was the fucking United States Naval Academy. With all other factors being the same, I'd take a Service Academy graduate over anyone else, no matter what Ivy League club they'd gone to. As an aside, I am dying for another fellow USNA grad to get into office and at least dilute the horrid fact that the only Annapolis grad to become President has been Jimmy Carter. Yes, I'll even take McCain for that task.

It's like their law /Flounder John S McCain Naval Academy Class of 1958, 1931, 1906, 2009 Captain McCain retired in 1981 as a bit of an under-achiever [irony and awed respect]. However, his extend TDY duty  when he was a LCDR did result in limited sea duty and billets that a Vice Admiral would normally have as he advanced.Service is a family value in some families. ETA: And service to country and the Navy runs deep in the McCains. |

true enough, sometimes the sarcasm doesn't come across clearly, especially on these subjects since there are a lot of folks here looking to stir shit. Glad you aren't one.

I know that... the point of the joke is what he gets called in the general Navy. Officer is an officer, doesn't matter what place he graduated in his class with regard to his authority.
