I've already gotten bored with what's availabe, and I read that there are probably going to be weapons at somepoint in DLC form. So that being said here are a few I'd like to see

Snipers: M24 M40A3 SVD M110 LMG: M60 M249 Assault Rifles: G36 M14 EBR Mk18 G3A3 SMGs: MP5 A2 AK74 Short Pistols: M1911 Sig 220 Shotguns: 870 Tactical Mossberg 590 I'm sure there are more. I just know that the sniper category needs more. They are so bland, and they gave you the best two rifles first... |

I want my mp5, and m40 back , and a M4 that isn't a piece of shit. There are a couple of guns like the M4 that have lower stats period compared to other guns, unlike the Acr(low damage, high rate of fire) and Scar(High Damage, low rate of fire) that round out evenly. Unlike the AK-47 which is the new MP44, that the MW2 AK fanboys can't get through their heads. Also did anyone else notice the lineup of weapons plays out like an episode of Future Weapons. I think the IW needs to stop watching TV. |

What makes one weapon "accurate" and another not so much is the sway that they have and the way they recoil (e.g. SCAR is straight up and down while the TAR is a cluster). Jay |

I wouldn't mind more primary weapons, but I would like less secondary weapons and challenges. I got to like machine pistol challenge VIII, 10,000 kills and stopped. The FMJ challenges are rediculous as well. Dustin The game becomes much more fun when you realize that unlocking all the weapons is pretty much a fool's task (whereas it was easy in MW1). Just unlock those you think are fun. At level 59, the only guns I've unlocked all the attachments for are the M4, M9, and M1014. |

I think the IW needs to stop watching TV. the AK47 is identical to it's cod4 counterpart, even to the part where throwing a red dot on it increases sway. the mp44 from cod2 to cod4 was different. the m16 sucks unless you have the autoaim that the consoles provide, and even then sometimes the 2nd or 3rd shots don't register. It needs to be semi-auto. there also needs to be more semi auto love. theres not going to be DLC that includes new weapons unless they are in spec ops exclusively. it's a game that's set in the future, I think it's acceptable to see a few new guns in it especially when most the game revolves around a task force and ultra-nationalists rather than conventional forces (with the exception of the Rangers). I unlocked the attachments for a tun of weapons, and I can say for certain that they designed the game to have weapons that were easy to use (glock, aa12, p90, 1887's, scar, aug and acr to name a few) to make cheating and using modded controllers pretty pointless. Generally the people that find the game dull or boring by reaching 70 are typically the people that are using weapons that are incredibly easy to use or not experimenting very much with them or using dull, predictable or easy tactics. if you have 3 classes with an m16 and 2 classes with the famas and only using a red dot or holographic on them of course you're going to get bored with them. there are tons of people who don't know how to deal with a camper, a sprint knifer or a guy with 1887's, but when the newer players who suck start getting better and learning to counter those kind of classes, they won't be as viable anymore. it's like the "bunny hopping" people complained about in the first one, eventually people learned to keep their distance and everything kept balance and was entertaining again. throw thermal on a rifle that works well with optics, like the scar, acr or m16/m4 and a smoke grenade with scavenger, and flood smoke into choke points and see how experimenting can be |
| The more I play this game, the more annoyed I get at all the cheap ways to kill someone, especially the killstreak awards. I know that the designers wanted to wow the semi-retarded children who make up most of the fanbase, but I think they've really got to the point where they detract from both the realism and the gameplay. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good game, but I think it is in many ways inferior to MW1. |

I agree with much of what you said, but the reason the scar has more damage is because its supposed to be the .308 version. |
