Well, here is some interesting news. The powers that be at AR15.com have decided to turn me loose upon you...[b]I AM A MODERATOR![/b] Allow me to introduce myself, to those who do not know me by now or are new to AR15.com I am first and foremost a proud member of the New York City Police Dept. I work in patrol burough Manhattan South (you figure out which Precinct I work in) and spent the majority of my days since September 11th 2001 at "ground zero". I am also a firearms enthusiast and am fairly new to the world of firearms. I practice as much as possible at my local ranges not only because it is fun and relaxing but because it may save my life or someone else's one day...pretty serious stuff! That being said, I'm a fun loving and easy going person. Let's keep it respectable around here and we'll all have a web-site to be proud of.[beer] |

And I thought the term used around here was "goderator" not moderator, atleast that's what some would lead you to believe. Question is on NYPD Blue the TV show how do you guys rate as far as clearing crimes off the books in just one to two days/episodes. I think they have a better track record than real cops do. Don't you believe everything you see on TV? I do! I usually wipe crime off streets by the end of my tour...it's the day tour and the 4X12 guys that mess it up again! Actually "Third Watch" is fairly realistic as far as TV shows go. |

When I was a kid and walk by, I always see a heap of coal right by the main entrance. That's waaay before my time! I believe they upgraded to gas heat, we also have hot running water on occasion! | Waverunner, I have been on this site for only two weeks and was going to leave because of all of the lets kill the cop's crap that was going on. But with NYPD MOS acting as moderators I might stay awhile. Looking at my name you know where I work, give a call sometime and ask for the XO. I might be moving in the next week or two. Mike. |
