Looking at one of these for a wood stove in a 2 story home. Plan on putting it in the upstairs room where the pipe runs through. It's double-insulated pipe and all, but the magic heat thing says it has to be 18" from the nearest wall. Anybody had one of these in their home? How hot does it actually get? Any ideas on mitigating the risk of reducing the distance from the gizmo to the wall? Thanks in advance! |
| 20 some years ago we lived in a house with a wood burner that had something similar, if not the exact same thing. It worked great. It was in the same room as the wood burner though so I can't really comment on how much heat it would put off all by itself in an upper room |
