I just got the magnets in for my Turtleship mod, and they make a huge difference in the way the switch works.  You just replace the spring out w/the magnets and your good to go.  The mod fires much better and the switch is not as crunchy.  I would highly recommend this upgrade.  Got them off ebay from FatDaddyVapes:

Magnets are awesome.  Thanks to fmkenner, my Nemesis has magnets.

I have a Tree of Life mod on the way.  Gonna see if those magnets fit that one.

Keep me posted if those work on the TOL mod.  I have one heading my way too.

Good to know.

I was thinking, the throw appears to be so short, it doesnt seem to even have room to bind up or anything.  Im just really looking forward to the easy lock ring.  Ive gotten pretty good at manipulating it one handed (heh) on my Nemsis while driving, but the ToL will be a welcomed change.

As long as you're not a dumbshit like me. I see all the picks of guys with a 3/4 throw for the lock ring and I am jealous. I can't get mine to contact without adjusting the neg pin until it's almost disconnected at present.

The 2 part positive screw takes a minute to get used to, but once you play with it for a while it's pretty easy.
Like a Nemesis you shouldn't adjust the negative pin on this mod. (Come to think of it, I can't name any mod that you adjust for battery contact at the switch.)

Mine showed up last night and the switch is nice, but I am having to adjust the negative pin all the way out to get it to fire (at least in 350 mode).  I did order some 490's to try the bigger tube to see if that helps it out.

Did you get the Hcigar version too?

Whose a dumb-ass?  I'm a dumb-ass.  There is a 2nd adjustment on the positive pin.  It works fine now.  I don't think it needs the magnetic upgrade to the switch.  It is smooth as is.

You're not alone. I had no idea about the positive pin adjustment either.

I have learned to ask here before I blow up any other mods.
