I don't mean to non-paying members, but private to the outside world, or at least Google.
Every topic in GD is indexed in Google, easily fetched by any anti-gunner or news agency. Some of the things said/discussed here should not be public, IMO. I've had experience creating forums, and we no-indexed our off-topic sections. AFR staff, there's also an SEO bonus involved for content being more relevant! What's the deal? |

If only the site had some area where people could post privately without worrying about being googled. They could even fund such an endeavor with membership fees. That would be great.
As it is, it's a great idea to be aware of the fact that everything you post online can be publicly searched. |
