| My back patio is tiled but the door steps were left with bare cement. I used some tile scraps and breaking them into pieces I tiled the steps in a random mosaic pattern. Anywho I have an open bag of light colored grout (that I had from another project) and the existing grout on the floor is a litter darker. I cant see buying a bag of darker grout when I dont need that much to finish the steps. What can I add to the grout to darken it before I mix it? I've seen grout colored after the fact but what about before you apply it? Rit Dye? Water based stain? It just needs a little otherwise I'll have almost white grout on the steps and a dirty brown color grout on the floor. |
