Dumb ass
And I'm glad to see that some clips came with their own high capacity mags (where's the pic of the 30 round mag with a 10 round clip attached to it?) http://www.necn.com/01/14/11/Weapons-cache-found-in-Meriden-mans-home/landing_nation.html?&blockID=3&apID=99e6f3213b6841ad915d6a419a388093 |

Here's the full article. It claims he made "threats involving guns" against a co-worker. Also said he had "go-bags" of preserved food. http://www.myrecordjournal.com/meriden/article_78d1fd60-1f92-11e0-8a6e-001cc4c03286.html |

It looks like we're heading in a direction that every single thing a person says has to be taken literally. I can imagine that a person that is known to own guns cannot say anything that sounds threatening even in jest. Be careful what you say around your co-workers that know you own guns. |

Can someone shed some lighton this part? As police were working to obtain a search warrant, a resident gave detectives consent to search the home.
"a rseident"? Even if its a landlord can this be done? Or is this just BAD reporting?
Edit cause my spacebarsucks. Wife or live-in girlfriend......, any adult that resides in the house could give police permission to enter and search. |

Thanks. |

" A judge will determine whether Macombe will get the weapons back or if they will be destroyed after the case has been adjudicated, Milslagle said."
God forbid he be allow to sell his "stash" and recoup his investment serveral of those "assault weapons" were probably legal afIter the AW ban, but were criminalized in later "public safety decisions" by the SP with out much fanfare. i bet there are thousands of people in CT that have no idea that AK clone in thier closet is a Felony. |

So what is a cache of weapons anyway? More than one rifle? Also, what is a low power rifle? I always see rifles called high powered rifles, I was just wondering where the lower power ones are at. The full article said 75 firearms. Not a small collection even by arfcom standards. A low powered rifle is one that will NOT shoot down satellites in orbit. |

Sad. Scary. I'm a prepper, and I'm not Mormon. I have a year's supply of food for my family and myself, as well as a firearms collection, spare parts, and ammunition. Included in that list are BOBs for every family member. I read articles like this and I think about what the papers would say if my house was "raided" because I told somebody who did me dirty that "Karma is a motherfucker, Son..." and they took that as a threat... |

Some on this board seem to support that idea post Tucson. |
