The patriot act gave the US intel community the right to intercept terrorist communication that has one leg inside this country. it did not give a blanket pass to spy on everyone. He did not do a good job or articulating the difference between what it does and does not do. Also did not clarify that many people misunderstand that part.... this time. he has dealt with the subject with more patience in the past.
he is one of the good guys. he just does not have a lot of patience for people who don't do their homework. |

What is the difference between somebody who calls himself a conservative, versus somebody who calls himself right wing? For what it's worth, I self-identify as a libertarian, which I've always understood as having the funny side-effect of equally pissing off both the left and the right, for different reasons.
