I've read (here) but didn't save the max temp for kydex forming...IIRC at a certain temp it releases poisonous gas...I've heard on the interwebs that people work with 275-350 degrees with toaster ovens, and just wanted to know the "max safe."

Thank you

I eventually found it myself- so FYI

Use a toaster oven (if possible) to evenly heat the kydex,It works better than a heat gun. Heat guns are good for fine tuning the part when you are done with the overall mold. Also, heat the kydex to no more than about 275 deg. Once kydex gets to 300+ it starts releasing some fumes you don't need to be breathing.

Would you like to be alone with yourself?

Here is the big Kydex thread.
