Anybody use these things?  They look like a great idea, and I tried some on the other day and liked them even more.

Yup - and I like them a lot.  I have a few pairs laying around.

Have a set that used when we ran a race car at the local track.  I like them.

I'm an airline mechanic. I've never personally tried these gloves, but have seen pairs laying around at work. The thought never entered my mind about buying a pair since others have bought, then shortly after disgarded their gloves. With the detailed work required in aviation just about any glove is impractical.

For automotive work or around the house, they would be great! Wonder how good they would be for shooting?

I have several pairs. I originally bought them for working on my Jeep, but I also have a pare for shooting.

You can buy them in 3-packs at Costco

Using gloves while wrenchin' is like using a condom while sexin', ya can't feel what yer doin'. IMO.

For shooting, I like baseball gloves. While they're a little expensive, they're comfortable, and you don't lose much dexterity.

To get back on topic, though, Mechanix gloves are great for avoiding busted knuckles.

I have two pairs. At home I use them for wrenching under the hood. Most things I dont have to take them off for feel. At work I use them when Im repairing a machine or other various tasks and recently I used them for tig welding. They work great.
