Murray is my girlfriends guinea pig. She went out of town this week, so I'm taking care of the little guy. She just got him about a month ago. Right now he's out of his cage, chilling on the couch next to me while I surf ARFCOM. The little rodent is growing on me.

This was dinner time tonight. Matchstick carrots, Timothy hay, and his pellet thingys.

That's sweet of you to take care of your girlfriend's guinea pig! I used to have a guinea pig named Goomba (she was given to us with that name). My mom would wake me up in the morning by putting her on my chest and she would start squealing. Our labs found her a little confusing! I definitely want another one sometime...

Well, she got my a Spikes flat top upper for Christmas, so I didn't really have a choice.

One more.

Had one many years ago. He was a great pet. RIP Albert.

No, this is Murray.

He also used to play with my daughter's guinea pig, Elmer.

Elmer would crawl all over Murray, and then Murray would pick Elmer up and carry in his mouth so he could follow me when I left the room.  When I got to the other room, Murray would set Elmer down, and then they would get back to playing.

LOL it's a good thing they got along....I could only imagine your reaction the first time you saw Murray pick up Elmer in his mouth
