Your years membership will start from the day your upgraded, not the day you paid.

I paid for mine last Friday being the 17th.. A weekend has passed with no upgrade. Will my upgrade be completed on this coming weekend, or have I slipped through the cracks as well?

Nobody "slips through the cracks". He will upgrade you then your membership starts on that day as Striker has stated. Welcome to the team.
