Quoted: Nice, Sabaton, Sym X, and Communic are all killer. |
|
Quoted: Quoted: They put out a new album lately right? Any good? It's not bad. The new vocalist is Stu Block from Into Eternity. It's not old school Iced Earth, but it's nothing like some of the stuff they put out in the past few years. Here's a sample, compare it against the old Dante's Inferno. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me. Hmm, yeah not bad. |
|
Quoted: I really only like clean vocalled metal. I got no time or use for cookie monster vocalists. In the classic vein Savatage Crimson Glory Maiden Priest QR Sanctuary (back when Warrel Dane could sing) You know, I absolutely love clean vocal metal, but I have a huge selection of harsh vocal metal too...just depends on the mood for me. Also, Iron Maiden is the greatest band ever in the history of music. Up the Irons!! |

Quoted: You and I have a different definition of 'clean' vocals. This is a crew of young dudes from Ontario. This song is one of their softer ones, but shows you how good his voice is, shades of Barlow. These guys have some real potential! I guess so. Everything I've posted so far is clean, not sure how you'd say it's not. That guy has a nice voice, but it would appear that you and I have a different definition of "metal".

In fact, quite a few of the bands in the OP are power metal bands.

The music of the 1st with the singer of the 3rd would be fantastic. But very bad news for the tinnitus. |

Check out some of Seventh Wonder's other stuff, their music is just amazing....so much better than Darkwater IMO. |

Quoted: How about some thrashy clean vocals? ![]() This is tied for best thrash album of 2010 btw. Fuck yeah, Overkill rocks. Here's some more clean vox thrash...hard to justify listening to Slayer when this stuff is out there (sorry Slayer fans) ![]() \m/ |
|
Quoted: Overkill is going on a US tour over the next few months. ![]() You know my happy ass is gonna be there! Sweet...I'm going to see Eluveitie and Children of Bodom next month....pretty stoked about seeing Eluveitie! I'll have to keep my eyes open for Overkill. There's also a rumor that Iron Maiden might do a short tour in the US this year...I'm going to take the kids if that's true. I can't wait.

Quoted: I HATE cookie monster metal with a passion. I'm more old school... being raised with bands like Maiden, Priest, Queensryche, and Dream Theater as my faves. Without question... my favorite metal band of the past decade is Kamelot. I love both types of metal Kamelot is good, although I was a bit disappointed with their latest. |
