Welp - Microwave took a shit - partially by a mess up of mine.
I wanted to reach out to the hive because ratings are worthless now everything is 4-5 stars which is BS then almost everyone has someone saying their microwave has had 5 service calls in a year. Any real world input? Any input on brands to stay away from or gravitate toward? I have been looking GE and Whirlpool I dont need something cheap but I am not talking Wolf either. |

Are there any features you want? I just went to Lowe's and picked out one that looked nice. It's a GE and makes stuff hot. Thats about what I am going for. We really dont use one that often so if it makes stuff hot I am happy. I just keep reading about all sorts of issues with the boards in them freaking out and stuff. I was eyeballing the GE |

I'm a huge fan of the GE advantium ovens. Microwave and oven as well using lightbulbs. You'll probably need to run new power for it though but we loved ours. It sounds like GE is the going brand.I read a bit on the kitchen aid stuff and they seem to have terrible reviews. GE seems to have good reviews across most sites I just didn't know if it was sheer numbers or what |

Either way I'd be looking for a unit that has convection capabilities built in. |

They're pretty much commodity items outside of the Advantium I mentioned, which if you want to spend big bucks on a microwave that does 10 times what a regular microwave does then go for it. http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-specs/PSA9240SFSS |

Or is it both? The Cafe series shows 120V capabilities but good god they are heavy hahaha |
