Is a dissipator not a 16 inch barrel on a rifle length gas system making a mid-length not possible

Many dissipators use a carbine or middy low profile gas block. Spikes makes theirs with a middy gas system. AimSurplus.com carries them.

I used a rifle length gas system on mine and I'm happy with it. It will run all the brass cased ammo I want to put through it, but doesn't really like wolf. If I opened the gas port it would probably solve this issue.

A dissy is a 16" bbl with a carbine or midlength gas length system and rifle length handguards and a fixed FSB at the rifle position.

A take on this is the Kino: a 12.5" bbl, carbine gas system, and handguards and fixed FSB at the midlength position
