It's coming, there is no doubt about it.  I don't expect any new gun control push, but panic buyers are predictable.  Are you buying now just to resell in a couple of months?  If so what are you buying?  I think P-mags were a hit last time, Glock mags seem to do well too.

I see two possible outcomes in the midterm elections.

1.  Republicans hold the house and gain the Senate

2.  Republicans hold the house and fail to gain the Senate but the Dems majority is severly depressed.

I don't forsee any of these scenerios resulting in any new gun control laws at the Federal level.

... I most certainly am

There's an old saying when it comes to these things - buy low, sell high

Who doesn't do this besides numbskulls?

I have never purchased anything with the intent to resell.  Generally it's way too much work to be worth my time.  I doubt we get Sandy Hook levels of panic, then maybe.

It is too soon since the last panic.   People are generally stocked up.

Panics tend to draw out newbies.  Thank Obama for all of the 13ers we have.

Short of another nutter going on a rampage I don't see anything happening until the 2016 election cycle. If it
looks like HRC or any other gun-grabber is going to be the clear winner and the next POTUS then all bets are off.

That said, now is the time to buy. Never seen ARs so cheap, at least not in the last 10 years. I picked up a few P-Mags
recently for less that $8 each. My hope is that ammo will soon follow.

Up until that point in time, this is probably correct.

After that - doesn't matter who is in office, shit is going to continue unraveling.   That's going to lead to a continued high demand for anything that goes bang, even if it's not at panic levels.

The left has no choice - they're going to have to try and go full retard on gun control sooner or later, because if they don't they're going to have a bad time of it when they finally have to start dealing with the consequences of kicking the can down the road the last several years.   The actions needed to keep them living high on the hog are just not going to fly with an armed populace.

Panic?

Republicans aren't seen as ant-gun and they will gain seats.

There is no chance of a panic, people won't fear gun control, and if anything, prices might come down slightly more.

Kind of stupid and I still vote R, but I fear a Rino more. Some Christie-like anti-gun asshole could swing some partisan votes and actually get something passed in response to some "tragedy".

If a handful of crazy white people go unhinged that causes 0bama to open his fucking mouth again, then there could be a panic.
