I don't normally look for Pmags. Never used any. But a friend texted me earlier, so I ordered a couple. I guess I'm poly-curious...

I'll soon have TWO!!

LOL.. I have more GI mags than I know what to do with, so I'll try out a couple Pmags.

I have seen one pretty bad failure of Gen2 Pmags and it's the reason I've not tried any.

What brand GI mags do you favor? Do you swap out the springs and followers to Magpul? I bought a couple of the Stoner mags from Midway for a little variety. Haven't had a chance to run them yet but they appear solid and I've heard good things. I am inexperienced with GI mags

When I first bought my ar I was broke right out of HS and never bought pmags because I could get c products mags for $4 cheaper. Bought my first pmag and noticed how smoother they are to load and function was/is 100% I now have over 40 pmags

When I built my AR I was such a gear snob I swore off anything but windowed PMAGs. I bought 3 thinking I was GTG. Now I also have 8 non windowed and 2 Stoners. This panic has taught me the benefit of variety.

Not in local internet gun sites, they're still like 35 bucks a pop round these parts. Wishful thinking I suppose on some sellers parts.......

I have a mixed bag, Okay, Center Industries, Parsons... a couple more I can't recall without digging 'em out of the cans. I also have about 20 of the AR-Stoner 30 rd and 10 of their 20 rd.. Never a problem with any of 'em, I love those things, though they are heavy.

And yes, I've replaced the followers on the old GI mags with orange and tan Magpuls. The springs on all of them are still just fine.

Oh, and just got a 10 pack of the D&H mags from PSA. Those things are incredibly well made. Perfect welds, no sharp edges. The yellow Magpul followers.

Over $16 shipped for me. Thats too expensive given the rampant availability of them lately, found in the AR15 Magazine Availability thread.
