I am painting some 50 cal ammo cans and am making my own magnetic stencils to paint the lettering with. I looked all over Microsoft Word to find a "military type" font, and the best I could come up with was the font Bauhaus 93. Is there anything out there that is better, closer to actual "military" font, for Microsoft Word? Thanks, Mike |

I found some stencils at Wal-Mart a while ago that had that style of font you are talking about. It wasn't exact, but close. I have used these as well. some can be modified a bit to look better, like the 7. I think fontfreak.com has some military style downloads. |

You can type "free fonts military stencil" into Google and a bunch of results come back for lots of fonts, many of which all look sort of like that.
Here is one- http://www.dailyfreefonts.com/fonts/info/840-Vinca-Stencil.html If you can get a real-actual-example of a clear photo of this lettering style, it might be easier to find (-or make-). Try to find a photograph that has as much of the alphabet as possible.
