Ok, there was a thread some time ago about chocolate and Milka was brought up as being the ultimate chocolate orgasm. Well low and behold, I was in Target tonite and they had Milka in the checkout isle so I picked up a bar to go with the bag of Hersey Kisses. Well I had a few pieces when I got home and I was impressed. You don't have the pasty gritty texture like American chocolate. It kinda melts with the texture of hard candy. So, just to be certain that it wasn't my imagination, after eating about 4 or 5 pieces of Milka, I opened the Hersey Kisses and ate one of those. Uh, now I know where the term Hersey Squirts come from, the Hersey tasted like s**t. Now my palate isn't as sensitive as most due to my moderate loss of smell, but the Hersey definately tasted like crap, gritty, pastey crap. WTF am I going to do with that bag of Kisses now? Thanks for who ever brought the original thread to the board and thanks to Target for carrying the stuff. Next time I get back to Target, I'll pick up a carton, a new addiction .

My wife is German and loves Milka chocolate! When we lived overseas she'd always keep a stash hidden in the kitchen. She would get pissed when she went to eat some and noticed everything was gone! Gotta love those midnight kitchen ops! If you have a Cost Plus World Market in your area, look for Ritter Sport chocolates. Those were my favorite! |
those are great, in Bosnia we got those from the PX all the time. they had one with raspberry in it and I've never been able to find it again, have you? |
Check Cost Plus World Market if you have them down there. They had quite a decent assortment last I checked. Mint is my favorite, I know for sure they have those!  Here ya go! Cost Plus |
