Okay, I know Tom Cruise is pretty much a douche and super crazy and all that. There is a certain intensity about him which works really well in some movies, though, and I think this was one of them.
It also helps that it is based on a Philip K. Dick novel and thus far his works have been adapted rather well, e.g. "Scanner Darkly" and "Blade Runner" and "Total Recall." If you haven't seen this movie, it is definitely a trip. |
