Those are some Awesome ideas for logos to hide around! This is going to look more like a sponsored stock car than a rocket/landscape.
Maybe make some really small, like need to be within 3 feet to see it's something that's words? I don't know what scale you're at, but normal "human size sign" and "human size bumper sticker" down to the scale of what you're doing, not sure how tall the doors are on Tattooine vs the mars domes to get an idea of "6 feet" |

Update 11/1.2
Big Marv took the Vortex Viper spotting scope out for the opening of deer season tomorrow. Marvin also wanted in on the fun and went out also. 
Look! The solar panels survived the whole day!
Christmas LEDS inside our buildings. ..these are easy to replace. We discussed gluing them in place, but students wisely suggested not doing that so we can replace them easily later. 
We decided we needed some exterior lights too.
Mostly because it allows the lights to connect easily.

11/1 continued....
We had to fit the Raptor set to the fuselage today. We found out that marking on one side, then attaching to then opposite and assuming it was the same was a bit of an error.
Some sanding was necessary for the plate to fit up in the fuselage body and line up correctly with the fins. 
More support for the fins went on today. This will allow us to build the skin on later and fill out the base of the fins. They have to be able to support being run into with backpacks. 
Taping off the windows. 
Detail paint soon.

Update 11/4
I think they are just about ready to slice up our John Deere so we can begin the build. This drawing does not include the running grear, and under carriage. 
New grow lights are here and we got them mounted up today. 
This is where we will begin with our Mars rover. 
We cut out the spot for our slab today and installed our pivot system. 
This will be an observation deck in our colony. 
More work on our Superheavy booster fins.

CAD is now ready to start slicing up our tractor. They grabbed this picture of the design later today. They were having a little fun with the color.
I love the stance we are getting. We've pushed the dimension to closer to 9' long. It should fill the space a bit better. I'm excited for us to get going.

Update 11/6
Big Marv was out deer hunting earlier this week. Quite the photo with Heart Mountain in the background. 
Our Martian colony continues to grow with details. 
New SpaceX launch/landing pad getting installed today. 
Decals and logos will start to go on this shelf tomorrow. 
The Raptor set has the 4 exterior corner engines sliced to fit with the lexan cover. 
After trying to use caulking yesterday, we cleaned it all off and redid the fins with bondo today. We are hoping for better finish after sanding.

Might want to test it on Monday to see if bumps cause cracks or chunks to fall off of one, or make one to destructively test after it cures for 4-5 days. It's a bit more flexible prior to full cure (months), just like automotive paint, which takes 6 months in air to actually fully cure, prior to that it scratches easily. |

Update 11/7
Crazy day today at PHS.  One of my team leaders accidentally hit a light pole in the parking lot early this morning. The sun was directly in his eyes and he didn't have his seat belt on. . He's fine, but totaled his truck and hit the windshield pretty hard with his face. He got a ride in the ambulance to the hospital and he needed stitches and will be gone tomorrow. His friends are already being pretty relentless with him , as they know he's ok. Pretty scary moment, and a good moment to talk about seat belts again, and how even in the parking lot they are needed.
After witnessing the crash, a fellow teacher turned around and went to check on him. He hit another light pole , again because the sun got in his eyes. He's ok, but his vehicle is pretty messed up. We had police and an ambulance in the parking lot making a decent spectacle.Like I said, crazy day. 
Our mural progress. 
The underside of "Luke's Place" is all cleaned up and fitted to the wall. 
Starship cockpit is almost finished up. 
Bondo sanding and reworks. 
More will need to be done tomorrow, but it's close to ready to take down and start painting.

More texture details on the grow envirodome. 
Communication towers starting to pop up on our Marian colony.

Did some remembering last night before I went to bed.
The time I spent in Elementary school through High school were the Exact timeline of the Space Race: 1960 to 1972. In the 1st Grade I had a pencil sharpener that looked like the Mercury Capsule. I was out sick when John Glen orbited the Earth. I watched the entire program when I wasn't sleeping. To NYC Gemini? The entire school was brought into the auditorium to watch a TV set (Vacuum Tube B&W) launch 4 different missions. Cannot remember which ones. 5th Grade had the Class go into a Local Radio Network program for a show. Educationally based network. 4 classmates got to be quizzed on the Space Program. Each got a chance to answer a Question. Watched live and later heard a recording of the show back in the classroom. 8th Grade and beyond: Apollo. 3 different schools and 3 different space programs. A classmate of mine in the 4th Grade turned me onto the Tom Swift series of books. 
I got all of the series from Number 1 through about 23. It's a semi-shame there isn't an updated series of books today. They'd be Tom Swift V now, I think. I can imagine Tom Swift IV helping out in the Gulf War. Swift Enterprises being the designers of drones, radio links and holographic 3-D GPS devices that are the size of a woman wristwatch and are worn like wrist watches. They probably tell the time better than the US Naval Observatory.
You want a Company in the background? Have some kids look these books up. I understand they've been going on for about 100 years now. Figure out some of Swift Enterprises on scripted logo's and placed on the rockets. Maybe a stylized SE on the rover and such. Seriously: If you need some company logo's it will be very hard to find a fictional company that is legitimately older than the Tom Swift series of books. |

My team leader had been at school since 6 am for "open mat" wrestling practice. He was heading back out to grab some breakfast.......in a hurry.  Funny thinking about when the school is completely empty. Midnight-5 am is about it. Sundays it's more empty, tI'll the afternoon, then there are always a few teachers there. Students are there in different activities from 6 am till 9pm every day of the week.

Students mostly worked on details and signage today. They were making a list of things we were missing and deciding how we wanted to recognize certain features. We may be running out of places, but we still have another sheet of logos to print.
  We figure advertising space on Mars will come at a premium, and for good reason.
Launch pad details. 
One of my students has his own homemade donut business. Another student had a logo sticker of his, so we surprised him with his logo on one of the subterranean structures.

It's interesting to get to a HS around 4 PM, unload the van(s) and bring the equipment in. About an hour or two later when we're on the clock and stringing wire all over the place, adults are shooting hoops elsewhere. OK, we'll wire the gym(s) another day. It's interesting wiring Boys and Girls locker rooms around 9 PM and later. We're naturally escorted in the rooms by the Staff. I've taken a Civil Service exam in an Elementary School. (Got an 86. Needed 95% and more to be considered.) Voted in an Elementary school, too. Congrescritter held an Home Town meeting in an Elementary once or twice. |

Update 11/11
We had a Veterans Day assembly with truncated schedule and Parent Teacher conferences tonight, so a very long day. We get to do PTC all over again tomorrow night. Final details on our Martian colony. 
With the way the landing pad is turning out, we may have to get some lights on there too. 
We are still finessing the final contour edges, gut we began the first coats of paint in our Superheavy booster. 
 
We managed to get one of our Martian shelves up on the wall, and the drilling rig up on our Powell Bench. It's fun seeing it start to come together.
