Anyone know if anybody is selling the .22 cal AR 15 look alikes that Mitchell Arms was selling a few years ago? I did a search on the net and found only a court ruling. I guess they had a lot of money tied up in this order and because of the ban the rifles got turned back and Mitchell went broke because of it.

It would be a pretty cheap way for doing some target shooting. I know you can get the .22 conversion kits, but I would like a whole .22 rifle.

I had some of their .22 pistols, like the High Standards of old. Looked good but by the time I got reliability to 100%, the non-heat treated firing pin broke. None of the replacements from anywhere matched, ended up making my own. May be a blessing that you cant find one?

Hrmm, I wonder what the market would be for an "post ban" legal .22 AR-15 look alike. I would not think it should be that difficult to work one up.

I bought up all the remaining inventory from EMF, who imported the Armi Jager AR-15 22LR copies.  I have enough parts to assemble about 8 complete guns as well as a few in .32 ACP.  Now I just need some time to get it done.

www.victorarms.com's website seems to be down, but their dedicated .22LR uppers looked great.
