Anyone have any experience with model 1 sales? I've had a kit ordered for about 2 months and can't get any reply from them after the orginal receipt. They haven't charged my card yet, and I know how busy all dealers are, but with no response to my emails and their phone is always busy, it  has me wondering if they are still there. Any ideas.

I have a build from one of their kits. Nothing but good stuff IMHO. Probably just backed-up right now. As may be the sace with alot of dealers nowadays.

Just finished a one week patrol rifle instructor school (approx 1K rds).  Used my Model 1 Sales light weight bbl upper attached to a DPMS lower.  Zero issues.  I have two uppers and have been satisfied.

I have had many good dealings with them, and good products.  But about 3 months ago I ordered a chrome BCG.  My card was not charged. I have yet to get the BCG, and I never received any correspondence.

I had an excellent experience with them.  That was pre-election though.

Ordering stuff off the Model 1 website is a guaranteed wait.

Why?

Because Model 1 has a contract with the companies who do the gun shows in Dallas. Model 1 has to be at the Dallas gun shows with stock for the next two years. They can't get out of it. So, as a result they are putting all of their web orders on waiting lists to ensure that they have enough stock to sell at the gun shows. I know this because I called them to inquire about a .22LR upper. They told me 7 months if I ordered through the website and they told me why. I went to the gun show the next morning, waited in line for about an hour at their booth and left with 2 new uppers from them.
