This one was just finished yesterday. Type 90. 1/35  This Chevy won either a silver or bronze (can't recall). I don't even remember the scale!  E-2 1/72  F-14, 1/72 (BTW, these photos were taken of models just taken out of storage boxes in Ireland)  Tornado ADV, 1/72  F-111 1/72  Alphajet, 1/72  LVTP7A1, 1/35  Challenger, 1/35  Chieftain, 1/35  SD-40-2, 1-87 (Seen on other thread, won a bronze or a silver)  Viggen, 1/72  A-10, 1/72  And for the wargamers.. 40K    Once upon a time, they were in better condition. Nice, what's the scale there? Plastic or resin? Did you scratch build? Do the canopies open up for internal viewing??

Nice.....where do you find models of airlineers? I've been looking for something other than warbirds to build. That said....I haven't built anything for 10 years.

I just HAD to make it the Terran Empire version. Always did have a soft spot for the "Evil Universe" Very VERY nice work guys......I am impressed with the attention to detail in a lot of these models. |
Thanks. I pretty much exclusively build commercial airliners. I used to be into modern fighters and ships, mostly because commercial models were hard to find, but not so much anymore. Minicraft Models had a great selection of commerical aircraft, nice kits and they fit together really well. I wouldn't recommend Revell USA, pretty cheap kits that don't go together all that well. My wife did this scratch built Petra out of paper mache' for my son's 1st grade class. They had a multicultural night at the school. My son's class did Jordan. Petra is an ancient city carved out of a rock mountian side in Jordan.  Kent |
Wow, that's some nice work. I'd love to see Petra in person, wanted to ever since I saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
