| Where do I go to contact a Mod to get a thread unlocked? Can't seem to find where to get a hold of them. |

The name of the mod/staff that locked your thread should be at the end of the thread. Email or IM that person. If you provide a link to me via IM, I can point you in the right direction. Gloftoe is usually more helpful if you provide tranny porn via IM, otherwise it may take a couple days for a resolution. |

Thanks. Can I ask while I have you. I got locked because of rule 13. Not changing or deleting text. All i diid was mark items !!!SOLD!!! as they sold. If I can't do that, how am I to make it clear when something sells? http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_161/1522483_4_Glock_17_Holsters___G_Code___Raven____Garrett.html&page=1&anc=bottom#bottom |

Click my EE listings. You also cannot take out the price after it's sold. |

Yeah, i Might have deleted the price. Bad boy. I forgot about using the System, but that would mark the whole thread as sold. I have 4 items on there. What you should do then is strike through the item description and put a big bold SOLD next to the description. That is the unofficial standard of deleting sold items in a multi item for sale thread. item xyz price $50 SOLD |
|
WILSON is a pretty reasonable and affable guy. If you send him a polite IM, I'm positive he'll either unlock your thread or provide additional guidance/clarification on the rules.
The EE is easily the most strictly moderated section of the site (it's a predictable and unavoidable consequence of trying to conduct commerce using forum software on a site this big), and it's easy to accidently break a rule there without intending to. He'll get ya squared away. |

I rarely do, because I think using the EE (as either a buyer or seller) is a royal pain in the ass.
They tried to fix it years back (and it was on it's way to being really awesome), but the villagers rioted. |

As someone who has participated in exactly zero EE transactions due to the pain in the ass it seems to be for everyone involved, I'm curious as to why deleting the price of a sold item is not allowed. |

Buyers like to look at completed listings to get a feel for what stuff is selling for. I'm sure there are other reasons as well (disputes and such). |
