I upgraded from a 15" LCD monitor to 19" LG Flatron that has 3000:1 contrast and 2MS. It seems to be a little more fuzzy than I was expecting. I went through the menu and adjusted everything possible to clear things up. Even downloaded fortemanager in an attempt to sharpen the images. Clear images and text are possible but only if I reduce the screen size. I'm just guessing but do I need another video card to get the advertised performance out of this monitor. My present card is an onboard Intel graphics card. The computer is about 4 years old and only has regular PCI slots on the motherboard. I know this because I added RAM to it as soon as I got the computer. Its running 760 MB of RAM on an Pentium 4 CPU 2.50 GHZ |

install the monitor drivers. get a decent gfx card that can handle the resolution. install graphics card drivers. turn on "clear type" www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx |
