pet the babies and take video There was a cub on my railing so I went out and yelled at it. Turned out momma was on the steps where I couldn't see her. I yelled they left, I did have an 870 though, just a note, warning shots to scare them do not work. |

How close will they let you get? Some of them will let you get real close, but a lot of them will run like hell, and rarely one will charge you. I always keep some distance and don't take chances by getting close. I just saw one a few weeks ago along the Snake River, it looks really wierd to see tham out in the sage brush steppe with catcus and tumble weeds and no trees in sight. |
