Understood. I sometimes think about the Republican convention and how against the nomination of Trump some of the people in the GOP actually were. The democratic party considered him to be absolutely unelectable. When he was elected, 47% of the democratic party believed it was due to voter fraud. Much the same way as a number of people felt when Biden got elected.

Not to cast a shade on your beliefs but sometimes in politics the guys you think are are sometimes not, vis a vis. These so called Rino guys have been able to push through a lot of decent stuff due to political schmooze and in no way actually reflects their true beliefs. As Trump soon found out by lumbering through, DC is a mine field and our government is inherently evil. Other politicians with a bit more experience than he had had a better understanding of that.

He refused to take anyone else's advice. Trump is Trump, love or hate him, but his approach nearly brought on a full blown commie revolution. Can't imagine he's changed much in two years, and TBH the fact that he wouldn't have any concerns about reelection makes me wonder what exactly he would do. I think his own egi would be more important to him than the actual job.
