Ok, I'm usually pretty good at doing my own research, but I'm having some hangups.  Maybe my google-fu isn't to par.

So what is a Hammer Drill and an Impact Drill?  I think I understand what a Driver Drill is, but if someone can give me some info on that I'll take it.

Like...what is the difference between each type?  What would the typical use be for each drill, and where would they not be used?  What kind of work is each suitable for?

Hammer drill and impact are 2 different names for the same thing, they both use special bits to drill into masonry.

Ok...but...like, they're still drills, right?  That's just a tag line so that you know these masonry bits can be used with these drills?

Yeah.  I didn't get a chance to post in your other thread but the 18v Dewalt that some folks recommended will do both.  It will act as a driver drill/screw gun and it has a hammer gun option.

I have used the dewalt to drill up to 3/8 holes in concrete.  It wears the battery down kinda fast but it works pretty good.
